Welcome to South Littleton Self-Catering Holiday Cottages
South Littleton Holiday Cottages are an ideal retreat to enjoy peace and quiet, to use as a base for touring much of Scotland, or to enjoy the local Golf, fishing, walking, riding, cycling and skiing in winter. South Littleton and the surrounding 38 acres was once a berry farm. Now the land surrounding the converted self catering cottages is mainly grazing land to support visiting horses, numerous ponies, and sheep at various times of the year. The Hayloft was once a weavers cottage and has been sympathetically converted to combine original character features, like wooden beams, with high quality modern features. Set in the farm courtyard, it’s a comfortable holiday house and ideal for families, especially horse lovers. Also in the courtyard is The Bothy, a smaller cottage which was originally used to accommodate farm workers. This cottage is a favourite with guests in the colder months due to it’s large woodburning stove.
The cottages are only 1.5 miles from Blairgowrie town centre yet they lie in the heart of rolling countryside and have have superb views of the Sidlaw Hills and the StrathmoreValley. It’s a really peaceful spot, ideal for relaxing but also within easy reach of many attractions and events in the surrounding area. Check out the links on the ‘Location and activities’ page.
The Hayloft is a large two bedroom cottage, ideal for a family group or two couples. Having a bathroom plus a shower room means minimal fuss in the mornings and the comfortable livingroom is perfect to relax in after a day exploring.
